Sarah & Rob Say “I Do” at Crabwall Manor Wedding Hotel & Spa

An excited Bride & Groom-to-be phoned and booked Chester wedding photographer Capture My Wedding in January 2017 to capture their wedding photographs when they tie the knot at Crabwall Manor Hotel and Spa in Chester. With its abundance of photographic locations inside and out, vast gardens and friendly staff, Crabwall Manor is by far one of my favourite wedding venues in Chester.

I arrived at Crabwall Manor, well ahead of the start time to captured some pre-ceremony shots as guests were arriving. This is always a great opportunity for some photographs with the boys, a great chance for me to distract the Groom, Rob and remind him of some key points. Rob was on the ball and had remembered all the information we had discussed at our pre-wedding meeting only a few weeks ago. Soon after this, the Groom Rob was asked by the Registrar to wait in the ceremony room for his Bride, Sarah.

With a room full of onlookers, Rob waited patiently prior to Sarah’s arrival. Rob and Sarah chose the Lyle room at Crabwall Manor Hotel for their wedding ceremony. As I was waiting for Sarah to arrive, along with all their wedding guests, this beautiful room was just perfect for all their guests to see up close Sarah’s arrival.

Sarah was “given away” by her Uncle who proudly walked her down the aisle to meet her fiancé, Rob. Gasps of “wow” filled the room as Sarah glided down the aisle. The Mother of the Bride looked so proud as she passed her.

Throughout the ceremony, Rob and Sarah did not take their eyes off one another, smiling and exchanging glances and approving hand squeezes. Sarah’s Brother kept their wedding rings safe before presenting the rings one by one to the Bride and Groom.

The Registrar to led the ceremony, was reactive and fun to the Bride and Groom. Everyone clapped as the Bride and Groom kissed and sealed their marriage. The happy couple were then invited to sign the Marriage Register along with their witnesses. Rob and Sarah were beaming, flashing huge smiles at every turn, making my job very easy indeed!

It was time to leave the ceremony room and head towards the drinks reception and raise a glass to the Bride and Groom and their future happiness. The sun had blessed the day, so we took full advantage of the stunning grounds and headed out to the vast gardens at the front of the hotel.

Crabwall Manor has a vast number of locations where photographs can be taken on a wedding day. The mature gardens provide a perfect backdrop for photographs at all times of the year and summer and autumn are my favourite seasons, for the colours in the garden.

I personally love the photograph below. We had to carefully sneak the bride into location but it is so worth it! I love the view of the hotel from here, with its turrets poking out above the fir trees.Sarah and Rob didn’t have to ask to kiss, they just instinctively kissed.
That’s love for you! ♥

This beautiful horse chestnut tree dominates the front garden at Crabwall Manor. It is the largest tree in the garden and for me shows the scale of the tree to the couple. This shot frames the couple during an intimate moment during a walk around the grounds and yes, I was lying on the ground to capture it…and it was totally worth it! Here is another….

This is one of my favourite photographs of the happy couple. Sarah looks beautiful and elegant whilst Rob looks so smart in his suit and so proud of his Wife! When I see a range of my photographs like this, I feel so incredibly grateful that I get to photograph weddings and capture people looking wonderful and feeling fabulously happy.

It was a pleasure to capture Sarah and Rob and they are insanely happy and all of these photographs convey their love for one another.

I’d like to wish Sarah and Rob all the very best for the future. I hope you had the most amazing time on your honeymoon and I hope you love your wedding photographs from Capture My Wedding.

Keep in touch!
